Hydrogel-impregnated dressings

Askina Transorbent

Multi-layered semipermeable dressing that consists of an adhesive layer that bonds to intact skin but is non-adherent to the wound, a highly absorbent hydrogel layer, a foam layer that provides a means of escape for moisture vapour and a vapour-permeable water and bacteria-resistant outer layer

FarlaFIBRE

Soft, conformable, non-woven dressing composed of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose fibres and enhanced high-density polyethylene with polyethylene terephthalate. Forms a soft gel for ease of removal at dressing change.

Intrasite Conformable

A non-woven dressing impregnated with amorphous hydrogel. The hydrogel is partially hydrated so as to donate moisture to drier environments and absorb in wetter conditions.
