Heelift Glide

Moorings Mediquip UK

Description

Redistributes pressure from the heel to the calf to prevent heel pressure ulceration. Gentle cradling and cushioning of the lower leg with the heel elevated in protective space reduces the chances of irritation or pressure points. The soft, smooth exterior fabric allows the leg to glide from side to side, preventing it from catching on sheets and blankets.

Indications

Prevention and management of heel pressure ulcers; large/small vessel disease; diabetic foot syndrome and decubitus; Braden pressure-sore risk scale ≤17; sedentary diabetic patients with neurological sensory deficit; foot pulse not palpable; prolonged immobility or coma
