L-Mesitran Ointment

Antibacterial ointment with 48% medical-grade honey, containing medical-grade hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan), sunflower oil, cod liver oil, Calendula officinalis, Aloe barbadensis, vitamins C and E, and zinc oxide. Single-patient multi-use.

Indications

Superficial and acute wounds such as cuts, abrasions and donor sites. Superficial- and partial-thickness burns (first and second degree). Chronic wounds such as pressure ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, and diabetic ulcers. Fungating wounds (to help deodorise and debride). Colonised acute wounds and surgical wounds.

Contraindications

Do not use on patients who are sensitive to the product or any of its components
