Description

Acellular dermal tissue matrix derived from fetal bovine dermis. Particularly rich in type III collagen, which is found in fetal dermis and is associated with developing and healing tissues. It creates an environment that supports cellular repopulation and revascularisation. Suitable for the management of the most challenging wounds, notably ulcers on the lower limb. Free of contaminants and artificial chemical crosslinks. Available in solid, fenestrated and meshed versions (meshed can be expanded 2:1).

Indications

Management of wounds including partial- and full-thickness wounds; pressure ulcers; venous leg ulcers; diabetic foot ulcers; surgical wounds (donor sites and grafts, post-Mohs surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric surgery, wound dehiscence); traumatic wounds (abrasions, lacerations and skin tears); tunnelled and undermined wounds; draining wounds.

Contraindications

Known history of hypersensitivity to collagen or bovine products
