Patented compression garment, with a therapeutic pressure of 15-21mmHg, designed to complement the treatment a patient receives during waking hours. Easy donning and doffing gives an innovative versatility, providing both night-time compression and a comfortable solution when resting in the daytime.
Primary or secondary lymphoedema, chronic oedema as a stand-alone treatment or as part of combination treatment. In venous disease and peripheral arterial disease where an absolute ankle blood pressure is more than 60mmHg; ABPI 0.5–0.8; or where reduced compression is indicated. Can be used where leg ulcers or wounds are present where, concordance with gold standard treatment is problematic. Where the wound is covered with a primary dressing and where leakage is contained within an absorbent dressing.
Comfiwave Breast Band: Breast swelling post lumpectomy, thickening or fibrosis of the tissues. Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease; decompensated heart disease; uncontrolled congestive heart failure; untreated septic phlebitis; phlegmasia cerulea dolens. Allergy to any of the materials used in the garment: cotton; polyurethane; polyester. Not to be used in high exuding wounds or as a step down from bandaging following wound healing or decongestive treatment.
