Indications

Class 1 (18–21mmHg): varicose veins, varicose veins during and after pregnancy, initial-stage oedema, spider veins. Class 2 (23–32mmHg): surface vein thrombosis, acute deep vein thrombosis, lymphoedema, prevention of post-thrombotic syndrome.

Contraindications

Acute dermo-hypodermitis, skin infections, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, known contact allergy to elastic garments/braces
