A soft, hydrophilic, sterile, nonwoven, gel-forming pad or ribbon dressing composed of sodium carboxymethylcellulose and enhanced fibers for strengthening.
Moderate to heavily exuding wounds and to absorb exudate in leg ulcers, pressure ulcers (category 2–4) and diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds (e.g. post-operative, wounds left to heal by secondary intent and donor sites), partial thickness burns, exudate absorption in oncology wounds and traumatic wounds (e.g. abrasions and lacerations).
Sensisicity or allergy to components; use as a surgical sponge; use within internal body cavities or within closed wounds (infection is not a contraindication).
