Histoacryl Flexible

Cyanoacrylate-based tissue adhesive for longer surgical wounds. An applicator tip facilitates creation of longer layers onto the surgical incision. Can be stored at room temperature

Indications

Surgical incisions measuring up to 25cm; closure of minimum-tension clean surgical incisions and simple, thoroughly cleansed, trauma-induced lacerations. Forms a microbiological barrier after wound closure.

Contraindications

Not tested for internal application. Not to be applied to areas with dense natural hair, within the conjunctival sac of the eye, or to wounds with evidence of infection or gangrene, or of decubitus aetiology.
