Amorphous hydrogels

ActivHeal Hydrogel

ActivHeal Hydrogel

Contains 85% water and a collection of polymer chains that are water insoluble. Does not contain animal-derived ingredients.

Cutimed Gel

Clear, amorphous hydrogel with optional sterile applicator

GranuGEL

Sterile gel composed of hydrocolloids in a clear, viscous vehicle. It provides a balance of fluid/moisture to the wound site, either by absorbing or donating fluid to the wound. Helps to promote natural autolysis.

Intrasite Gel

Amorphous hydrogel. It is partially hydrated so as to donate moisture to drier environments and absorb in wetter conditions.

Intrasite Gel (1)

Amorphous hydrogel. It is partially hydrated so as to donate moisture to drier environments and absorb in wetter conditions.

Nu-Gel

Nu-Gel

Clear amorphous hydrogel containing sodium alginate for better exudate control

Octenilin Wound Gel

A combination of hydrogel and octenidine, to keep the wound moist, inactivate microorganisms and loosen encrusted coatings

Prontosan Wound Gel

Gel containing betaine (a gentle effective surfactant that penetrates, disturbs and removes biofilm and wound debris) and Polyhexanide (to help control bacterial levels on the wound)

Prontosan Wound Gel X

Ready-to-use colourless viscous gel containing betaine (a gentle effective surfactant that penetrates, disturbs and removes biofilm and wound debris) and Polyhexanide (to help control bacterial levels on the wound)

Purilon

A clear and amorphous hydrogel for effective autolytic debridement of necrotic tissue. Should be used with a secondary dressing.
