Description
Range comprises Secura No-Sting Barrier Film and Secura No-Sting Skin Prep Protective Spray, Wipes and Swabs. Secura No-Sting Barrier Film and No-Sting Skin Prep are sterile liquid film-forming products containing a non-stinging solvent that dries rapidly.
Indications
Secura No-Sting Barrier Film and No-Sting Skin Prep help to protect intact or damaged skin from irritation caused by urine and/or faecal incontinence, digestive juices, wound drainage, adhesives and friction. When applied to intact or damaged skin, it forms a film around the attachment site of drainage tubes, external catheters, ostomy sites and adhesive dressings. The film is permeable, colourless and transparent.
Contraindications
Do not use on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not apply to infected areas of skin. Do not apply directly to open wounds or deep puncture wounds.
