Description
An advanced layered construction that combines a composite hydrocellular foam pad sandwiched between a perforated silicone gel adhesive wound contact layer and a highly permeable waterproof outer film. A central mesh screen on the pad helps shield the visibility of exudate.
Indications
Wound management by secondary intention on shallow, granulating wounds, chronic and acute exudative wounds, full and partial thickness wounds including: Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, donor sites, skin tears, and fungating wounds. Can be used in conjunction with Intrasite Gel for necrotic or sloughy wounds. Pressure injury/ulcer prevention on intact skin as part of a pressure injury/ulcer prevention protocol.
