Description

A highly conformable dressing that consists of a flexible, low-adherent polyester layer coated with nanocrystalline silver

Indications

Indicated as an antimicrobial barrier dressing over partial and full thickness wounds such as burns, surgical sites, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers and diabetic ulcers. May be used on infected wounds. Where the product is used on infected wounds the infection should be inspected and treated as per local clinical protocol. May be used as a wound contact layer in combination with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) for a period of up to 3 days

Contraindications

Do not use on patients with a known sensitivity to silver. Do not use on patients undergoing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination. Prior to administering radiation therapy, remove product. A new dressing can be applied following the treatment.
