Bordered foam dressing shaped to conform to the heel. Consists of a soft silicone wound contact layer, a flexible, absorbent pad with three layers (a foam, a non-woven spreading layer and a layer with superabsorbent fibres) and a film backing.
Designed to be part of a prophylactic therapy to prevent skin damage, e.g. pressure ulceration, and to reduce postoperative blistering. Also designed for a wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (e.g. skin tears) and surgical wounds.
