Mepilex Border Comfort

Bordered foam dressing with proprietary Flex Technology for superior comfort and conformability. Consists of a soft silicone wound contact layer, a flexible, absorbent pad with three layers (a foam, a non-woven spreading layer and a layer with superabsorbent fibres) and a film backing.

Indications

Designed for a wide range of exuding wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (e.g. skin tears) and surgical wounds. Can also be used on dry/necrotic wounds in combination with gels. Reduces postoperative blistering, and may also be used as part of a prophylactic therapy to help prevent skin damage, e.g. pressure ulcers.
