A superabsorbent dressing comprising of four layers; a hydrophilic wound contact layer, an intermediate layer, a superabsorbent inner core and a fluid repellent backing layer. The superabsorbent inner core locks in exudate, bacteria and matrix metalloproteinases. Contains no glues, adhesives or latex. Effective under compression.
Management of moderately to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, postoperative wounds, oncology wounds and traumatic wounds
Do not cut or tear dressing. Not to be used on dry or lightly exuding wounds, as a treatment for arterial bleeding or heavy bleeding wounds, in cavity wounds, surgical implantation or third-degree burns.
Comprises a soft, non-woven outer contact layers for comfort with a superabsorbent core to lock in exudate, bacteria and matrix metalloproteinases. The dressing also features a horizontal wicking layer and a heat-sealed border. Suitable for use under all forms of compression.
