Description
Sterile, self-adhesive absorbent dressing with a silicone interface. The backing film is air-permeable yet waterproof, allowing the patient to shower. Depending on the wound's condition and the clinician’s instructions, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. The absorbent pad is made of cellulose and SAP, which effectively absorb and retain exudate, and is wrapped in a hydrophilic cellulose tissue to distribute the exudate evenly.
Indications
Treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds: acute wounds (e.g. burns, post-op, trauma wounds) and chronic wounds (e.g. venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and fungating wounds).
