Description
Sterile; bacteria-, virus- and water-proof; transparent; and absorbent island dressing for treatment of surgical and other acute wounds.
Indications
Dry and low-exuding acute wounds such as surgical wounds, superficial and partial-thickness burns, skin donor sites, lacerations and abrasions.
Contraindications
Surgical implantation; control of heavy bleeding; third-degree burns; placement inside deep cavities or sinuses; use under a compression bandage; radiation therapy
