Aquacel Ag Foam

Adhesive and non-adhesive sterile Hydrofiber foam dressings consisting of a waterproof outer polyurethane layer and a multilayered absorbent pad. The adhesive version has a silicone adhesive border. The multilayer absorbent pad contains a layer of polyurethane foam and a non-woven layer of Hydrofiber (sodium carboxymethylcellulose) impregnated with 1.2% ionic silver.

Indications

Management of wounds with infection or increased risk of infection, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, partial thickness burns and traumatic wounds.

Contraindications

Sensitivity or allergy to dressing or components. Not compatible with oxidising agents such as hydrogen peroxide or hypochlorite solutions.
