Biatain Silicone Non-Border

A soft and conformable polyurethane foam with a vapour permeable top film that is bacteria- and waterproof, a gentle and perforated silicone adhesive, and turquoise protective films. The dressing has 3DFit Technology, which means the foam conforms to the wound bed to fill the gap and reduce pooling of exudate.

Indications

Can be used on a wide range of low to highly exuding wounds in patients 40kg and above. This includes acute wounds such as donor sites, postoperative wounds, traumatic wounds and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers. It is suitable for use in combination with compression therapy and may be left in place for up to 7 days.

Contraindications

Do not use on patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use with oxidising solutions such as hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide solutions. Ensure that any other evaporating solution is completely dried off before applying dressing. Refer to full instructions for use.
