Biatain Silicone Lite
Foams Coloplast

Biatain Silicone Lite

A thin, ultra flexible and absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a semi-permeable, bacteria- and waterproof top film and a soft silicone adhesive layer. The dressing has 3DFit Technology, which means the foam conforms to the wound bed to fill the gap and reduce pooling of exudate.

Indications

Indicated for a wide range of non-to-low exuding chronic and acute wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, postoperative wounds and traumatic wounds (e.g. skin abrasions, skin tears, cuts). It can be used in combination with compression therapy and may be left in place for up to 7 days.

Contraindications

Should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or its compounds. Do not use with oxidising solutions such as hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide solutions. Ensure that any other evaporating solution is completely dried off before dressing application. Refer to full instructions for use.
