Description

Alginate dressing. An absorbent, sterile, non-woven, pad consisting of calcium alginate, and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibre.

Indications

For the following moderate to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds: pressure ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, cavity wounds, donor sites, postoperative surgical wounds, superficial and partial-thickness burns

Contraindications

Not recommended for use on dry wounds. Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to alginates or carboxymethyl cellulose. Surgical implantation. Do not use to control heavy bleeding. Refer to full instructions for use.
