Description
Conformable paste composed of the same ionic silver alginate matrix as used in the Askina Calgitrol Ag flat dressing
Indications
Infected or critically colonised partial- to full-thickness wounds (category I–IV pressure ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, neuropathic ulcers and second-degree burns)
Contraindications
Known sensitivity to alginates or silver; where the presence of metals is contraindicated; ulcers resulting from infection such as tuberculosis, syphilis, or deep fungal infections; third-degree burns
